A Mental Health Perspective

and recorded material programs, either of which can be used to fulfill the
requirements of the course.

Option 1 Playing the Online Program.
The presentation by Margot Escott, LCSW should play in any computer with a web browser. It requires Macromedia Flash Player, which is usually included in any Internet browser. Updates are available free at www.Macromedia.com.
Be sure your computer speakers are turned on when you start the program. Simply clicking on the Med Errors Course link should launch the video program. A recording of a live presentation will begin. You may then listen to the two hour program. You may also want to load the Slides for the program to view or print out.
Optional: You may also want to play a 12 minute 60 Minutes News Program on medical errors which helps understand the complexity of preventing medical errors. It is completely optional and not an essential part of the course, but a great aid. You may also print out a handout of the slides if you prefer to turn up the speaker volume and be free to move about your home or office. The slide titles correspond to the lecture topics.
At the end of the program you will need to complete the post-test and the program evaluation either online or by printing it out. This should be returned via online submission, mail, fax, or email to Michael Freeny Associates. Your CE certificate will be delivered promptly upon completion.
Payment $35.00 You may either pay online for the course or print out the order slip with the Test & Evaluation and either include a check or a credit card number to pay for the program.
The free Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read most of the documents. Most computers already have it installed.
Option 2 Reading the Material.
You may also read the material and complete the written program. Online you can either read the material by scrolling through it or print out the material and read at your leisure. In addition to the primary course there are support documents on the CD that you can view on your computer or print them out.
To obtain your CE credit you need only return the post-test and the evaluation to Michael Freeny Associates.
